WOOD GEAR CLOCK GALLERY

Pillars - WGC-4

The architectural theme of this impressive floor clock makes it particularly well suited for today’s contemporary home and office décor.Golden section (also known as divine proportion) is employed throughout the design making it especially pleasing to the eye.Dramatic angular lines combined with bright and natural colors make this piece worthy of the most opulent settings. The motion of wooden gears, driven by weights hidden inside the columns, create an illusion and mystery that provides an unparalleled level of interest of functional art.

  • The frame is solid cherry, finished with a white pickling stain. The caps and feet are accented by gold leaf.
  • High tech bearings provide smooth and long lasting performance.
  • Multiple levels of adjustability speak to the integrity and sophistication of the design.
  • Large 15”diameter gears are carefully balanced and provide intrigue and interest as they rotate in concert with each other.

Pillars is a limited edition of 100, and each is signed and numbered by the artist. Note the red flag near the bottom of one of the columns that indicates the weights are nearing the bootom of their travel and the clock should be wound soon.
